Inspired by a prompt from Go Design Something, the project challenge was to create an interactive or static infographic to inform new designers of the highest paying cities for instructional designers (IDs).
Data from ZipRecruiter was used to identify 50 of the highest paying cities for IDs in the United States. The cities were input into Mapcustomizer.com to gain insight on the visual representation.
A free clipart map served as a template to apply customizations in Adobe Illustrator. The scalable vector was then imported into PowerPoint where I input city-data into each state.
Over several iterations, hotspots, transitions, and animations were used to achieve the desired interactivity.
