The Four Agreements

From the series, 'The Most Important Thing is to Remember the Most Important Things', the following illustrations were created to serve as visual reminders of the lessons discovered in Don Miguel Ruiz's notable book, The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom.

Role: Illustrator

" It is through the word that you manifest everything."

" It is through the word that you manifest everything."

"Whatever you think, whatever you feel, I know is your problem and not my problem. It is the way you see the world."

"Whatever you think, whatever you feel, I know is your problem and not my problem. It is the way you see the world."

You are never responsible for the actions of others; you are only responsible for you.

"We have the habit of dreaming with no basis in reality. We literally dream things up in our imaginations."

We make the assumption that everyone sees life the way we do. We assume that others think the way we think, feel the way we feel, judge the way we judge, and abuse the way we abuse. This is the biggest assumption that humans make.

"Regardless of the quality, keep doing your best-no more and no less than your best.

"Regardless of the quality, keep doing your best-no more and no less than your best.

When you overdo, you deplete your body and go against yourself, and it will take longer to accomplish your goal. But if you do less than your best, you subject yourself to frustrations, self-judgment, guilt, and regrets.
